Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey discusses a tragic event that occurred in Delaware County, Indiana, around 3:40 a.m. today (Wednesday, November 12, 2025). Delaware County Sheriff's Department Corporal Blake Reynolds responded to a call about a motorist in need of assistance on Interstate 69, northbound from State Road 28. While Cpl. Reynolds was out of his vehicle helping a truck driver who had pulled over on the side of the road when a second semi, also headed north, lost control and collided with Cpl. Reynolds' patrol vehicle, the broken-down semi, and, sadly, Cpl. Reynolds himself. First responders from all over the area rushed to the scene to help in any way possible. Two medical helicopters were dispatched, and every effort was made to save Cpl. Reynolds. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries. Bilbrey then provides some updated details about the Whitestown shooting investigation. And finally, Bilbrey shares the dreadful news of Sharon McShurley's apparent return to Delaware County politics for the 2026 election cycle. #ThePoliticalSpotlight

The 2026 midterm election cycle starts in less than 60 days (as of the initial broadcast of this episode: Sunday, November 9, 2025). However, that doesn't mean the campaigning hasn't already begun! The question then becomes: Is everything being done correctly? And what's all the fuss about Madison County Council's "newbie" Councilor Jonathan Culp? Has he really been using his county position to campaign for a higher seat, just 11 months into his first term as Councilor? What committee is he using to campaign? What will his campaign finance reports show? And has he really been buying votes? Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey welcomes contributing correspondent Dr. Katherin Callahan to the show to help break everything down! This will be an episode you won't want to miss! #ThePoliticalSpotlight
