Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey offers his commentary and analysis of the Muncie City Council meeting on Monday, March 2, 2026. The meeting was once again long; however, the tone was markedly different! Honestly, this meeting was a WIN for transparency, accountability, and communication, and for the citizens of Muncie! This meeting should be a teaching moment for Muncie's elected and appointed officials, as well as its citizens! The takeaway is: The Council WILL DO what is right IF the citizenry stands up and forces them to! For the citizens, this shows, yet again, that all it takes is a bit of action. For Muncie's officials, specifically the city council, it proves that the people WILL speak! Now, we just need to get to a point where the council does the right thing without needing the citizenry to hijack several meetings in a row! #ThePoliticalSpotlight

Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey has a lot going on and a lot to discuss with the audience. It's that time of year again! From the City of Muncie and an ordinance that should have passed twice already but didn't, so it has been refiled, to a LOT of filings for political office in this 2026 election season, to a former City Councilor's OP-ED about the current insanity among the Muncie City Councilors... and, of course, there is always nonsense going on in Madison and Henry Counties. There just isn't enough Bilbrey or the team to go around, and there is NEVER enough time in the day! That said, it is time for some of the very best political commentary on the face of the planet, so let's get to it! #ThePoliticalSpotlight
