Delaware County Sheriff's Department Corporal Blake Reynolds responded to a call about a motorist in need of assistance on Interstate 69, northbound from State Road 28. While Cpl. Reynolds was out of his vehicle helping a truck driver who had pulled over on the side of the road when a second semi, also headed north, lost control and collided with Cpl. Reynolds' patrol vehicle, the broken-down semi, and, sadly, Cpl. Reynolds himself. First responders from all over the area rushed to the scene to help in any way possible. Two medical helicopters were dispatched, and every effort was made to save Cpl. Reynolds. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries. Bilbrey then provides some updated details about the Whitestown shooting investigation. And finally, Bilbrey shares the dreadful news of Sharon McShurley's apparent return to Delaware County politics for the 2026 election cycle. #ThePoliticalSpotlight
