On Friday, February 27, 2026, The Political Spotlight breaks from its regularly scheduled days off to report on the tragic death of 35-year-old Nicholas Gulley II, a Henry County, Indiana, resident. Gulley was arrested and booked into the Henry County Jail on January 9, 2026, for misdemeanor criminal trespass. Several hours after being booked, a physical altercation occurred between Gulley and corrections officers. Over the next nine days, Gulley's medical condition deteriorated. He was transported to Henry County Hospital via EMS on Sunday, January 18, 2026, and later airlifted to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, where he remained in the intensive care unit on life support until his passing at approximately 5:57 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026. Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey provides details on this tragic case and presents exclusive jail surveillance footage documenting key events from January 9 through January 18, 2026. Bilbrey also discusses broader concerns about leadership, accountability, and transparency within the Henry County Sheriff’s Office. 'The Political Spotlight' remains committed to investigating this matter and seeking answers for Gulley’s family and the community. #ThePoliticalSpotlight

It's all just a bit too much! And that's why this 610th episode is a "free association" show. A Monday-Funday (Free-for-All Chat)! Then, as he winds down the last show of the week, Bilbrey explains the contest viewers will have a chance to participate in next week. It's official! We are under the first "Sproles Watch" of the new year! (#SprolesWatch2026 - 1). Henry County, Indiana, Sheriff John M. Sproles once again looked at a bad situation and thought, "HOW CAN I MAKE THIS WORSE?" At 642 p.m. this evening (Tuesday, January 13, 2026), Sheriff Sproles recorded a six-minute, fifty-six-second video in which he outlined his "official statement" regarding the traffic stop his deputy conducted on Saturday, January 10, 2026. As is common for Sheriff Sproles, he always finds a way to make a bad situation worse by interjecting himself. He makes inappropriate comments and, again and again, proves he is not a true leader. Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey reviews the Sheriff's statement and offers his thoughts on the Sheriff's remarks. Does this help or hurt the situation, and what comes next? The problem with John Sproles is that one can never be too sure! #ThePoliticalSpotlight
