She earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Ball State University and her Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law. Before her judgeship, she practiced law for 17 years, serving as a public defender, an attorney for the Delaware County Council, and a certified family law mediator.
