Williams is currently a Captain overseeing the Detectives Division. He has served in many roles within the Sheriff's Department over his 21 years of service. Williams has lived in Henry County for more than 20 years.
This is Williams' second run for Sheriff. He ran in 2022 and lost to Republican John M. Sproles in the May 2022 primary.
