Join Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey as he welcomes Ryan Webb, Republican candidate for Delaware County Council in District 4, to the show.

Webb, a former At-Large Delaware County Councilor who served from January 1, 2021, through December 31, 2024, lost his bid for re-election by 68 votes in November 2024. He is now seeking re-election to the same Council as the Councilor for District 4, a seat currently held by Republican Jim Mochal. Mochal was appointed to the seat after the death of longtime District 4 Councilor Jane Lasater, who died while in office in April 2023.

Bilbrey and Webb discuss the campaign, Webb's thoughts on Delaware County's current state, and his plans for the county if he is re-elected.

The meeting was once again long; however, the tone was markedly different! Honestly, this meeting was a WIN for transparency, accountability, and communication, and for the citizens of Muncie!

This meeting should be a teaching moment for Muncie's elected and appointed officials, as well as its citizens! The takeaway is: The Council WILL DO what is right IF the citizenry stands up and forces them to!

For the citizens, this shows, yet again, that all it takes is a bit of action. For Muncie's officials, specifically the city council, it proves that the people WILL speak!

Now, we just need to get to a point where the council does the right thing without needing the citizenry to hijack several meetings in a row!

Madison County, Indiana, is in the process of redrawing its election and voting precincts, and this topic will be discussed during an upcoming commissioners meeting scheduled for 10 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025. However, Madison County Election Officials were frustrating citizens by refusing to provide both the current and proposed precinct maps for review before the meeting. But then Bilbrey stepped in!

To help explain all this, Bilbrey invited contributing correspondent Dr. Katherine Callahan to the show to discuss the current MAPS drama—aiming to clarify and help Madison County residents stay involved.

When a mistake occurs or something is done wrong, whether intentionally or not, once it is discovered, an apology is typically given, and the issue is corrected. Generally, it’s not expected that it will happen again or that something worse might occur.

However, in politics — especially in Muncie, Indiana — and even more so when the Ridenour Administration is involved, there are a few things you can be certain of:

First, there will be no "mea culpa"...

Second, the idea that "the cover-up is worse than the crime" is never considered...

And third, the sycophants will always be ready to die on even the most foolish of hills...

Needless to say, Mayor Ridenour’s Executive Assistant Shareen Wagley is doubling down on the crazy, along with the mayor and the rest of his team, and you know Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey has a LOT to say about it all!

Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey covers the Delaware County Commissioners' meeting held earlier this morning (Monday, September 15, 2025). For many residents of Delaware County, the top item on the Commissioners' agenda was the Solar Ordinance. However, instead of voting on the ordinance, the Commissioners decided to table it again to revise the language. Bilbrey is curious about why it is taking so long.

Next, Bilbrey looks toward the Indiana State House, as he has serious concerns about Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales, along with all the other ongoing issues involving Morales. He has now handed over the personal information of nearly 5 million registered Indiana voters to the federal government. As you can imagine, Bilbrey is not pleased.

Tune in for Bilbrey's thoughts on the Delaware County Commissioners' meeting and the situation with Indiana, Secretary of State Diego Morales and the personal information of all Hoosiers. Bilbrey also highlights a SUPER-FAN, Mr. or Mrs. Barton Tweaker, better known as "Bluestate49."

Information has been pouring into 'The Political Spotlight' team from all directions over the last couple of days! So, this 510th episode will once again be packed with some of the hottest political commentary out there!

First, Bilbrrey discusses the two arrests made on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at a Town Hall for Indiana's Lt. Governor, Micah Beckwith. Believe it or not, there are NO WINNERS here, only losers!

From there, Bilbrey has more questions about Blackford County! Questions that keep coming up about the murder and those investigating it. He also has other questions about different aspects of Blackford County Government. Who would have thought there would be multiple ongoing issues in different areas of Indiana's fourth-smallest County? Anyway, as he tends to do, Bilbrey found a way to get involved in it all!

Next, Bilbrey quickly reviews a brief Muncie Redevelopment Commission meeting from today, Thursday, August 21, 2025. Not much happened, but one thing did catch Bilbrey's attention, and he has some thoughts about it!

Then, Bilbrey covers the latest news out of Henry County, Indiana, related to the massive sexual assault case and lawsuits that have shaken the county. Some say it's the worst-kept, open secret that EVERYONE KNEW, yet EVERYONE acted like they didn't know. And now, things are falling apart! And Bilbrey shares some thoughts on it all!

And lastly, Bilbrey summarizes a brief speech made by a Madison County Sheriff's Deputy during a budget meeting on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. The Deputy stood before the Council, trying to get them to understand. It was a strong stand, but did the Council truly listen? Will the Madison County Council do the right thing this time?
