McCallister, who has been active in national political campaigns for the past few years, decided to throw his hat in the ring for the office of Representative to the Indiana State House for District 34, which is made up mostly of the city of Muncie. He hopes to capture the seat for the Republicans for the first time since 1994, when Fred Wenger (R) was defeated after serving only one term.
