This 624th episode is a follow-up to Ep 623: "Becoming the Story!" It discusses the article published on Friday, March 20, 2026, by The Courier Times Editor/Reporter Travis Weik. The article, "More Jail Footage Reviewed Following Gulley's Death," reports on the death of Nicholas Gulley II on Friday, February 27, 2026, after being on life support in the ICU for over a month, following a ten-day stay at the Henry County Jail.

The fact that reporter Travis Weik tried to start the article with a false claim and point fingers at Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey set things off on the wrong foot.

Not to mention the strange feeling that Weik and the newspaper seem more focused on playing PR rep for Sheriff John M. Sproles than on investigating what actually happened and following the story to its true, factual conclusion. All this and more make Bilbrey and the team question what is really going on, and he covers it all in this episode!

For part 1, Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey welcomes attorney Mark Nicholson to the program. Nicholson has an interesting backstory himself, and he is currently one of the few attorneys representing clients suing Henry County Sheriff John Sproles for various wrongdoings.

Recently, Nicholson has taken on the case of the family of Nicholas Gulley II, who died on Friday, February 17, 2026, after being on life support in the ICU due to illnesses and injuries sustained while Gulley was incarcerated in Henry County Jail.

Bilbrey allows Nicholson to speak on various topics he's legally permitted to discuss. While this is Nicholson's first time as a guest, it certainly won't be the last!

Next, Bilbrey shares his thoughts on Indiana House Bill 1359, specifically Amendment #2 to that bill. The amendment would cut early voting time in half and was presented by Indiana State Senator Mike Gaskill (R-Pendleton). Bilbrey has mixed feelings about this bill and would like more communication from both sides before a decision is made, but this is politics... so that is more than likely not going to happen!

Lastly, Bilbrey recaps his time at the Henry County Sheriff's Department on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. Bilbrey was in the 'House of Sproles' to review videos pertaining to two separate incidents: (The Bell Traffic Stop) & (The Nicholas Gulley Jail Incident).

Bilbrey has a lot to say about the situations and his ongoing attempt to uncover the truth.
