First up, Bilbrey looks at the deepfake AI scandal that has been reported to have taken place in the Indiana Lt. Governor's Office. Lt. Governor Micah Beckwith finds himself at the center of a growing crisis involving a deepfake video allegedly featuring the wife of Craig Haggard, a Republican State Representative for District 57. Top staffers in his office reportedly viewed the video but failed to follow proper protocol. Now, instead of taking responsibility, Beckwith is denying the incident and targeting internal leaks.

Bilbrey then discusses the crazy idea of redrawing Indiana's congressional maps only four years after they were last set, despite Indiana law requiring redistricting every 10 years. Vice President J.D. Vance will meet with Governor Mike Braun and Republican leaders on Thursday, August 7, 2025, to push for a special session of the Indiana General Assembly — all in an effort to create another GOP congressional seat. Bilbrey highlights the legal, ethical, and political issues tied to this outrageous power grab.

Next, Bilbrey shares a new story circulating from northern Indiana. Austin Bonta, Republican Mayor of Portage, Indiana, issued a statement shedding light on a threat made against the entire city of Portage, and Bonta, as Mayor... by longtime political hack and dirtbag, State Representative of district 4, Ed Soliday. The threatening message was sent from Soliday to the Portage Mayor regarding his opinions on the recent increases in some utility bills that many citizens have been questioning. The Mayor was simply informing the citizens that the local government had no control over the rate hikes, and he was letting his constituents know that he shared their frustration. He also explained who is responsible for those increases and shared some personal opinions about it. That post led Soliday to send him a very harsh message, in which he called citizens "fools" and "public noise boxes." Soliday concluded the message by saying, "I promise I will work hard to make certain your city never gets any revenue increases!!!"

Just before wrapping up, Bilbrey quickly reviews the "three-minute short" City of Muncie Board of Works meeting from Wednesday, August 6, 2025. The meeting was unusual because, for the first time in six years, the BOWs members did not disclose the total amount of the claims they were paying. That definitely raised questions for both Bilbrey and Producer Kate, as it should. It could be nothing... or... it could be a MAJOR ISSUE! That means the claims will have to be gone over with a fine-tooth comb!

Lastly, Bilbrey informed everyone that on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit ruled that "Indiana's 25-foot 'buffer zone' around police" is unconstitutional. The law, originally passed in April 2023 by the Indiana General Assembly, has been on hold since 2024 due to a judge's ruling after it was challenged in court by a coalition of Indiana media organizations. Although more work remains, this ruling was a major victory for the First Amendment, Constitutional Advocates, Liberty & Freedom supporters, and the media and press. However, similar cases are still pending in Louisiana and Tennessee.
